Lebo M and Pretty Samuels divorce after one year of marriage

Saddened to hear of another celebrity divorce on the cards…

Lebo M has announced he is in the process of getting a divorce from his businesswoman wife Pretty Samuels Morake.

In a statement shared with TshisaLIVE the composer, musician and producer said he will issue his wife with summons for divorce.

Lebo M said he will not be respond to allegations about what led to the breakdown of his marriage, and he regards this to a private family matter.

“I will not be drawn into salacious allegations and innuendos about my business and personal life. I will be going ahead with the divorce and have already instructed my attorneys,” said Lebo M.

The couple celebrated their one year wedding anniversary in March.

The couple took to their timelines to pen heartfelt messages to one another and shared videos showcasing how they celebrated the occasion with close family and friends at their home.

“It’s our first anniversary as husband and wife. Thank you, Pretty Samuels. I have no words. How blessed am I, beyond measure and anyone under the sun’s imagination. I love you,” Lebo M wrote in an Instagram post.

“Happy anniversary my friend first, my love, lover, boss, employee, sibling, my knight in all armours. I love you,” Pretty wrote.

According to Sunday World, Lebo M and Pretty Samuel exchanged vows in front of a magistrate and witnesses in February last year.

Fans have been itching to get a front row seat to his private life after he gave a glimpse of it in his reality show Lebo M: Coming Home

Lebo M married Angela in 2008 before they split in 2013. He later married her again and they divorced again in 2017. He has also been romantically linked to Vivica Gibson and Nandi Ndlovu. Lebo M has also been engaged to Zoe Mthiyane and Mel Ntsala.
